The property owner wanted to convert an existing backyard detached garage building into a renovated livable accessory dwelling unit. Renovations include removing an existing overhead garage door, installing new interior walls to create a full kitchen, full bathroom, and bedroom, to compliment the new living room. A portion of the existing garage remained untouched for storage use.
